The Artist

Why do you create? Photography for me is more than a visual art, it is sort of anthropological and cultural research which also helps to represent myself.
How do you work? I shoot analogue photo cameras of different formats and work in darkroom.
Has your creative process changed over time, if so, how? It is a developing process. More you practice, more you work, more you read, more you communicate with artists, more you travel- the better your pictures.
Do you consider yourself a full-time or part-time artist? I'm full-time artist
Besides creating, where else do you spend your time? I'm on my Master's degree, so, spending certain time at university. Also trying my best to travel more and get to know something new about photography. Plus I like communicate with people.
What inspires you? Beauty of nature, beauty of moment, beauty of people. Discovering new and touching the history.
What is the first piece of art you remember creating? Photographs of my native town
What does the term art mean to you? Art is very natural. And very personal.
Name three artists that you respect? Robert Capa, Pablo Picasso, Henri Cartier-Bresson
What is your favourite piece of artwork? Robert Capa: FRANCE. Brittany. Pleyben. July 1939. A crowd gathered in front of Mr. Pierre Cloarec's bicycle shop.
