The Artwork

A red sailboat sailing away from the Gold Coast, Australia on the pastel colored Pacific Ocean during twilight.

The Artist

Why do you create? I create art to educate and inspire humanity in the hope that one day we can all get along.
How do you work? I usually go it alone only because most people I've been out shooting with can't keep up and don't want to keep going until we've drained all the sunlight we could possibly drain.
Has your creative process changed over time, if so, how? There are, what I would regard as, stages in photography and once you've figured each one out you move onto the next and I think my work has evolved into art that has more layers to it as I've gone through the different stages.
Do you consider yourself a full-time or part-time artist? Live and breathe it!
Besides creating, where else do you spend your time? I live a chilled beach life, so usually at the beach.
What inspires you? Nature and all of her beauty. Beautiful women. I love artists that stand for a positive cause and I am grateful for all of the amateur photographers out there who post their best shots.
What is the first piece of art you remember creating? My most memorable piece of art I've ever created was a stylish, antique wooden clock that I gave to my mum at high school.
What does the term art mean to you? That's such a broad term but my minds eye says art is the theatrical expression of life.
Name three artists that you respect? The work of surrealist painter Vladimir Kush has warped my mind for the better and Aussie legends Peter Lik and Ken Duncan for their contribution to photography.
What is your favourite piece of artwork? I don't hang a lot of other art because of sensory overload although I tend to think of art like fashion going in and out of season and I mix and match depending on what look I'm feeling.
What is your dream project? A famous landmark building in New York with someone doing something different on every balcony
