The Artwork

This piece is the first of a very short series showing a contrast between traditional and modern. A monk is walking down a street in Tokyo, begging for donations for his temple. This is called Takuhatsu. He is walking by a Prada shopfront which has handbags on display, and a picture of a model wearing a yellow dress, contrasting with the yellow robes worn by the monk.
