The Artwork

If you are a Star Wars fan, this drawing might be for you

The Artist

Why do you create? When I found something beautiful or interesting to draw, I just do. And I find a lot of things beautiful and interesting !!!
How do you work? I usually take a picture that I like and I reproduce it on paper. This could an picture I took on the internet or by myself, this can also be a scene in a movie or a show I love.. Basically anything that I find interest in drawing.
Has your creative process changed over time, if so, how? It kind of have. I started drawing when I was about 10 years old and learnt everything by myself (I've never went to an artistic school to learn). Of course growing up, your skills get better and you start discovering new technics such as charcoal, pastels, lead pencils, white pencil on back paper etc.. All theses methods got me curious to know if I could handle them so I started trying different technics. Now I just kinda mix up all of them in one drawing.
As for the creative process, when I was younger I just drew portraits, usually of celebrities I liked, but now I'm opening up on animals and scenes. Also, I really like drawing series more an more. It create a logical follow up on my work and I always know what to do next !
Do you consider yourself a full-time or part-time artist? More a part-time artist. I do this for pleasure before everything else.
Besides creating, where else do you spend your time? Family, friends, travels... Repeat..
What inspires you? Mostly films, TV shows and travels
What is the first piece of art you remember creating? It was when I was like 6 or 7 years old I think. For Mother's day I cut a shaped heart piece of wood with my father, which I painted in pink and wrote a poem on it for my mom.. This thing is awful but still hanging by the kitchen window. But the first actual drawing I made was a wolf (a not very detailed one) when I was 11.
What does the term art mean to you? Everything and anything.
Name three artists that you respect? Jean-Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo and Claude Monet
What is your favourite piece of artwork? There is to many to have a favourite. It's like asking for my favourite film or music.
What is your dream project? Moving in Los Angeles and work as an art director.
