The Artwork

The old railway bridge at Gundegai in southern NSW, taken while passing through there a few years ago.

The Artist

Why do you create? I think I enjoy the challenge of trying to create a balanced image of whatever subject I'm trying to capture. I love to capture nature but will photograph almost anything that happens to get in front of my lens.
Has your creative process changed over time, if so, how? I guess the biggest change, as with most people, was from film to digital. Otherwise, I still keep it as simple as possible, doing most of the creation process in camera, very little post-production work.
Do you consider yourself a full-time or part-time artist? I'm definitely a part-time artist.
Besides creating, where else do you spend your time? I'm still working full time at a mundane job, but spend a bit of time at my local archery club.
What inspires you? Again, the challenge of capturing that next great pic, but also trying to show God's handiwork in nature.
What is the first piece of art you remember creating? Oh, too long ago to remember.
What does the term art mean to you? Something created that is appealing to the eye.
Name three artists that you respect? Ken Duncan, Steve Parish and Heather Angel.
