The Artwork

Two symbols come across one single image, they both communicate beauty and fragility of human nature.

The Artist

Why do you create? I create as a response of my inner voice. I've been creating images since my childhood and it is just my way of living happily
How do you work? Most of the time I love to walk around new places and discover new symbols, paths and people. Some other times, an images just comes into my head and I find out the way to take the photo.
Has your creative process changed over time, if so, how? Since I end up my studies, I have improved my photography by learning how to be patient and wait for the perfect light or subject position, for example. So I think my photos are better because I am a better person now, I have learned more about myself and that's the most important for me and my craft.
Do you consider yourself a full-time or part-time artist? Part time artist
Besides creating, where else do you spend your time? Working as a photo-designer at a prestigious hotel in Quito
What inspires you? The mountains, the cold of the moor, the light of the sunset and sunrise between the fog in a forest, nature in general
What is the first piece of art you remember creating? Some drafts when I was a little kid, maybe when I was 5. I began to draw, paint, play the guitar at that age. When I was 8 years old, I got my first photo-camera and haven't stopped since then. I also have been dancing since I can remember.
What does the term art mean to you? The voice of the spirit
Name three artists that you respect? Gregory Crewdson, Laura Zalenga, Pablo Corral
What is your favourite piece of artwork? Claude Monet - Sonnenaufgang
